If you’re not familiar with Pantone, you can essentially think of them as the colour authority when it comes to, well, pretty much anything.

And if you’re invested in the style scene in any way, then you remember seeing a lot of blushes and baby blues last year, which is largely due to the power of Pantone colour declarations.

That said, they’ve thrown us a plot twist this year by making varying shades of green, called Greenery, their colour of choice in 2017.

So, expect to be seeing a lot of green on the runway and even more popping up in decor. And while the vibrancy of this colour makes it an exciting pick, it’s not the easiest to integrate.

That’s why we made this list of some easy ways to integrate this colour scheme into your home, no matter your style preferences.

Those with a more eclectic style sensibility will delight in the possibilities this colour pick is packed with.

If you love to mix patterns, styles, and textures, then incorporating this paint colour—by way of a statement couch, throw pillows, or decorative accessories—is a no fail way to bring new, unexpected life to a whimsical room.

Bedroom Lovin’

At first thought, you might not think such a colour idea would blend well with the soothing vibes of a bedroom, but we’d advise you to think again.

According to Pantone, Greenery is meant to be interpreted as a fluid colour, running a spectrum of varying shades of green. So, if you’re looking to chill out after a long day, consider a soft tone like this one and pairing it with a plant or two for a soothing slumber.

Just a Touch

Do your aesthetic leanings tilt more toward feminine and romantic? Then there’s no reason you can’t get down on this trend too.

As this oh-so-lovely romantic room demonstrates, just a touch of this colour is enough to transform without overwhelming your space.

If green feels a little too intense for your tastes, consider integrating plants or some artwork to play with this trend’s possibilities without making a big commitment. You just might be surprised at how much you like it.

Retro Kitchen

Retro blasts from the pasts are all over trends of 2017 and this colour is no exception.

What might not seem like a perfect colour scheme idea for the kitchen can actually be all kinds of awesome with the right styling. This contemporary breakfast nook with a retro twist is the kind of unexpected aesthetic pleasure 2017’s style will be made of.

Home Office

As it turns out, the colour green is among the best colours humans can use to inspire creativity and inventiveness. And what better place to do that than in the home office?

Adding plants, art, or any other decorative accent in this colour to your office will stimulate your senses each and every day so that you’re as equipped as you can be to take on every task that comes your way.

Organic Complement

Another trend you’ll be seeing everywhere in the New Year are the incorporation of organic materials into anything and everything. And, fortunately for decor enthusiasts everywhere, they just so happen to pair beautifully with Greenery.

If elements from nature tend to make their presence known in your home, add some Greenery to the mix to punctuate ‘em perfectly.

Luxe and Glamour

Merry Minimalism

A lot of minimalists tend to lean toward softer neutrals to accomplish the aesthetic they’re after. If that sounds like you, we challenge you to consider the powerful pop a hint of Greenery can provide.

Just a little bit of this colour can refresh and revitalise even the most minimalist of aesthetics without crowding or overtaking the bare bones vibe.

Make a Statement

Especially helpful for when you’re at a loss for how to decorate, integrating a sofa in this colour will eliminate the need for a ton of extra decor and accessories. It’s pretty much a one-and-done decorating job.

Chic and Sophisticated
